Experience : 6+ Years.

MOW : Remote.

Timings : US Shift 4PM to 12AM.

Automated Test Development : SETs are responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining test suites to validate software functionality.

Code Reviews and Inspection : They participate in code reviews and inspections to ensure the testability of code and adherence to coding standards that facilitate automated testing.

Test Framework Development : SETs build and enhance automated testing frameworks and tools that facilitate automated testing across different layers of application.

CI/ CD Integration : They integrate automated tests into CI/ CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and delivery of software updates.

Ensure Build Stability : SETs monitor the test results and ensure the stability of builds before deployment.

Quality Assurance : SETs contribute to maintaining high-quality software by ensuring comprehensive test coverage and enforcing testing best practices.

Documentation : They create and maintain documentation related to automated test cases, test plans, and test results to support knowledge sharing and transparency.

Technical Skills :

These are the knowledge and expertise required to perform specific tasks and use specific tools.

These include :

Programming Languages : SETs use a programming language to write automation test scripts and develop test frameworks.

It is required to have proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, etc.

Test Automation : SET must have strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining automation test suites using frameworks like Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Appium, etc.

Performance Testing using K6, if possible.

Some form of testing experience utilizing AWS Services like S3, EC2, Step Functions, Lambda etc.

IS equipped with the knowledge of setting up BDD Framework, TDD Framework and setting up End to End Automation testing for services as well.

Database Skills : SET must be familiar with database management systems such as MySQL, and PostgreSQL and must have a basic knowledge of SQL for querying databases and verifying data integrity during testing.

Web Technologies : SET must be familiar with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

CI/ CD Tools : SET must have experience and capability to integrate automated tests into CI/ CD pipelines and must have experience with deployment tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, etc.

Non-Technical Skills :

Communication : SET must have effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with developers, QA engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
