Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated Gem Portal Executive to join our dynamic team. The Gem Portal Executive will be responsible for managing online portals related to gemstones, processing customer inquiries, and ensuring smooth transactions on the platform. This role requires someone who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and is skilled in problem-solving and conflict resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Portal Management: Oversee the operations of the Gem Portal, ensuring it functions smoothly and efficiently.
• Customer Service: Address customer inquiries, complaints, and requests via phone, email, or live chat with clear, friendly, and professional communication.
• Transaction Handling: Manage orders, track the delivery process, and handle payment queries. Ensure accurate updates to the portal.
• Vendor Communication: Establish and maintain relationships with gemstone suppliers and vendors for seamless transactions and inventory management.
• Quality Control: Ensure that gemstone listings, descriptions, and prices are accurate and current.
• Marketing Support: Assist in creating promotional content, campaigns, and advertisements for the portal.
• Data Entry: Accurately input gemstone details into the system and maintain inventory records.
• Problem Resolution: Address customer issues and disputes promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Reporting: Provide regular reports on portal performance, customer feedback, and sales to management.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, sales, and logistics, to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Communication, Gemology, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in customer service, sales, or online portal management (experience in the gemstone industry is a plus).
• Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Basic understanding of gemstone terminology, inventory management, and online platforms (desirable).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM software (experience with gem trading platforms is a plus).
