In this role, you will be at the helm of our sales efforts within your assigned territory, driving strategies, and achieving both personal and group sales goals.

You'll strive to exceed customer expectations and foster satisfaction through a variety of responsibilities:.

Sales Activities.

Territory Management: Navigate your assigned territory, adhering to our pricing guidelines and coordinating all sales-related activities.

Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, providing valuable feedback to enhance our operations.

Specification and Communication: Ensure Armstrong products are specified by consulting engineers in the assigned region, articulating our value proposition to engineers, contractors, and owners.

Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with all sales channels, including owners, mechanical contractors, and service providers.

Goal Setting: Assist Regional Sales manager in establishing and achieving goals for the sales group.

Special Projects: Support various projects as assigned by management.

Reporting: Produce bi-weekly market activity reports and regularly update activities in our CRM system.

Value Selling: Demonstrated expertise in value selling to effectively communicate the benefits of our products and solutions to customers.

CRM: focus on daily CRM updates, Input and maintain opportunities to have the latest updates.

Use of CRM for call scheduling, meetings notes on daily basis.

Sales Associations: Be a member and actively participate in the local chapters of associations like ISHRAE, ASHRAE, IGBC, AEEE, BEE, FSAI, IPA, CII, etc.

Customer Support.

Contract Management: Secure satisfactory customer contracts and ensure accurate contract verification and order processing.

Performance Measurement: Generate daily, quarterly, and annual reports as required by management.

Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive customer and competitor records and engage in sales planning sessions.

Marketing Interaction: Provide valuable feedback to our marketing team on their initiatives.

Feedback Analysis: Analyze customer feedback to continuously improve our market share.

What Were Looking For.

To thrive in this role, you should bring:.

University degree in Mechanical Engineering.

At least 6+ years of experience in industry-related direct sales, particularly in solution and value-based sales.

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

In-depth knowledge of HVAC solutions and systems, including HVAC product selection software.

Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth.

Strong understanding of complex B2B sales cycles and negotiation techniques.

Software Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM tool.

A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently.

Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to manage conflicts within various organizational structures.

The capability to simplify complex problems, conduct root cause analysis, and provide clear, well-thought-out recommendations.

Team-oriented leadership skills with a proactive approach.

An ability to communicate openly and authentically in all situations.

Ability to travel 70% of the time within the region.
