This open position is for Armanino India LLP, which is located in India. Armanino India LLP is a fully owned subsidiary of Armanino.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Manager to oversee the accounts payable processing across multiple clients and projects. This role involves managing a growing team of accounts payable specialists, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, and maintaining compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the local accounts payable team.
Coordinate and supervise the processing of invoices, purchase orders, expense reports, and payment transactions across multiple clients and projects.
Develop and implement accounts payable policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
Provide leadership, training, and performance evaluations for the accounts payable team.
Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
Ensure compliance with both Armanino and client internal controls and company policies.
Foster strong relationships with clients, providing proactive financial insights and solutions to meet their evolving needs.
Mentor, coach, and develop a team of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies, and leverage this knowledge to drive process improvements and innovation.
Maintain high levels of US team/ client satisfaction.
Drive and manage utilization of AP staff.
Qualifications:
B.Com degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Chartered Accountant, or equivalent qualification, preferred.
5+ years of experience managing accounts payable for multiple U.S. clients and projects, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Deep knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations, with experience in a client-service or accounting environment preferred.
Familiarity with accounts payable software such as Bill, Ramp, and Routable.
Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes related to accounts payable.
Familiarity with U.S 1099 Reporting.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with a passion for learning, adaptability, and innovation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with accounting and ERP systems such as QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, D365, and Workday.
