Manager - Process Control Quality

Role & responsibilities

General supervision of quality process of multiple sections. Develop and recommend plans, procedures, and schedules to process efficiently in accordance with the requirements of customers.

1. Candidate should have an Knowledge of Quality Process & Procedures in alloy steel orgn.

2. To Ensure for no mix-up.

3. Responsible for bars counting.

4. To receive & handover Heat History Card daily.

5. To check any heat having process abnormality which call for MPI/ inspection inform to concerned person

6. Check Rolling Schedule, same family grades not to roll after one another, in case of deviation- information to special care for mix-up team.

7. For new size to roll, plan first heat of Ingot material, so that size can be set before Billet Route material.

8. To check rejection / any abnormalities in CFD.

9. Conduct daily meeting with Foreman to update Process abnormalities / CFD rejection

10. Make daily /monthly process reports

Preferred candidate profile

Relevant hands-on experience in Iron and Steel Sector

Minimum Qualification Required :- BSC in Chemistry / Diploma in Metallurgy / B.Tech in Metallurgy
