Manager Internal Audit

Qualification : Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant .

Experience : 8 - 10 years of total experience in Operations, Internal Audit & Compliance in Manufacturing and Service Companies.

Mission Statement/Objectives

Conduct Internal Audits, develop the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and provide an independent and objective assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of operational systems and controls across company in order to check its conformance with statutory and corporate governance norms and safeguard the companys assets from losses of any kind.

Main Accountabilities

• Prepare an annual internal audit plan based on risk assessments clearly identifying the tasks, assignments and timelines for completion to ensure smooth, timely & effective functioning of the audit process.

• Conduct and monitor all statutory, internal audit proceedings, using SOPs and audit manuals as per the plan to cover all business processes, application systems, general controls etc. across departments, locations, assets and documents to ensure and maintain strict compliances with all statutory norms

• Analyze the findings from the audits and prepare audit reports highlighting corrective actions to address all non-compliances.

• Coordinate with third party and external audit agencies and provide all the required documents to ensure that the company is not legally penalized for noncompliance.

• Monitor the status of all audit recommendations and appraise the adequacy of follow up actions taken on audit findings and recommendations.

• Develops and trains team members in the application of various audit and risk assessment techniques and accounting principles to ensure a competent and well-developed team.
