Role & responsibilities

Required Experience.

We're looking for an experienced Rx & OTC Brand Manager, with 2+ years of work experience. Should be self-driven, proactive, articulate, team leader, networked, confident, data/fact driven, go-getter

A. Primary Responsibility

• Understand the Corporate & Divisional strategy/expectations and align the brand & portfolio strategy in line with bigger goals.
• Regular market research, competitor & customer analysis, be ready with the proactive approach, in terms of ideas/opportunities related to New product, New Market, Pricing, Packing, Customers & Promotion, Distribution.
• Prepare the Brand/Portfolio plans at least 6 months in advance for the new business (New Brand/New Market)
• Stock Planning in market-in distribution to propose the production & liquidation plans.

B. Common Team Responsibility

• In addition to core brand/portfolio management responsibility, the manager will also have the shared common team functions.

C. Geographic Responsibility

• In addition to core brand/portfolio management responsibility, the manager will also have the responsibility to support few markets, as the Market coordinator & Support the Sales Head.

OPERATIONAL

• Coordinate & ensure the execution of the designed strategy in the field & regular tracking, feedback & Corrective actions proactively.
• Coordinate & ensure all the Promo materials (Print & gift) are procured, dispatched & available with field on time.
• Coordinate & ensure proper product sampling plan is designed, procured & available on time with field.
• Coordinate & ensure all slide decks related to Training/ CME/Webinar/ Doctor/ Pharmacy Meetings are prepared & are available with field on time.
• Field visit/Field work as per the annual plan or/& as and when required as Ad-Hoc Plans
• Prepare-Submit weekly & monthly work report for the weekly & monthly Reviews.
• Training and guiding field force on the Medico-Marketing strategies
• Implement the successful product launch strategy.
• Attend and coordinate all Medico-Marketing queries from the field on time.

Technical Skills:

• Medical Knowledge of Human Anatomy & Physiology
• Brand Management Skills (Brand Plan, STP, Marketing Mix, Promotional Mix, Product Mix, Customer Mix)
• Excellent understanding of customer & Market - based marketing strategies
• Long-range forecasting for brand (with BU Lead and Country Brand Lead)
• Communication Skills English-Read-Write-speak - (French can be added advantage)
• Digital savvy (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Knowledge of Market research methods and good analytical skills
• Excellent presentation & Creativity skills
• Experience in product launch design, with extensive exposure to cross-functional teams
• Conducting field work for insight into activity / strategy implementation
• Initiate market research / pilot studies and finalize promotion plans
• Develop awareness campaigns, Manage Conferences /Webinar/Congress with KOLs / in partnership with Medical Team
• Inventory, Stock planning & management
