SAP HCM Consultant - AMS (5-11 yrs)

The Role:

The role requires strong expertise in SAP HCM with AMS experience, including ECC and S/4 HANA proficiency, and handling multiple module interfaces. Key responsibilities include providing functional support for SAP SD/MM and HCM processes, analysing and resolving issues, and configuring HCM modules to optimize system performance. The candidate will assist in the ECC-to-S/4 HANA transition, support business teams with training and documentation, and ensure smooth integration with other SAP modules and external systems. Additionally, they will participate in SAP project phases, conduct system health checks, and document configurations, process flows, and enhancements while leveraging tools like Jira or ServiceNow for AMS tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide functional support for SAP SD/MM processes in both ECC and SAP S/4 HANA environments.

- Analyze and troubleshoot issues raised by business users, providing timely resolutions to ensure smooth system operations.

- Act as the primary point of contact for business users in the HCM area, addressing functional issues and providing system guidance.

- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and work with technical teams to implement permanent solutions.

- Configure SAP HCM module based on business requirements, ensuring the systems are running efficiently and in line with best practices.

- Review and optimize current processes and configurations for continuous improvement and cost savings.

- Perform periodic system health checks, identifying areas for enhancement or improvement.

- Assist in the transition from SAP ECC to SAP S/4 HANA by providing expertise in mapping and configuring HCM processes in S/4 HANA.

- Support business teams in understanding the changes in S/4 HANA, providing training and documentation to ensure a smooth transition.

- Help in testing and validating new features or functionalities in S/4 HANA related to HCM, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

- Collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure successful integration between HCM and other SAP modules

- Support interfaces between SAP and external systems to ensure smooth data flow and process alignment.

Contribute to various SAP S/4 HANA and ECC related projects, assisting in the implementation, testing, and go-live phases.

- Participate in business process design workshops, gap analysis, and blueprint preparation.

- Provide ongoing functional expertise during SAP S/4 HANA upgrades or new module implementations.

- Document functional specifications, process flows, and user guides for SAP HCM processes.

- Maintain accurate records of system configurations, issues resolved, and enhancements made to the system.

- Generate reports to assess system performance and user adoption, providing insights for further improvements.

Skills Required:

- SAP HCM (Human Capital Management) with AMS Experience. 4/5

- ECC & S/4 expertise, Multiple Modules interfaces experience - 4/5

- Experience in AMS tracking (Jira/ServiceNow) and client facing skills- 3/5

Qualifications & Experience:

- 5-6 years of experience

- Any Graduate
