Senior Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the modeling, development, and support of Process Automation projects.
• Act as an RPA consultant, providing expertise in process re-engineering, solution design, and project management.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automate using RPA software/tools.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, applying effective project management skills.
• Develop automation scripts in the RPA tool, considering process descriptions and feasibility.
• Maintain and update Developer Standards based on RPA best practices.
• Design, develop, test, and support automation solutions using RPA tools.
• Provide ongoing operational support, including upgrades, defect fixes, and process change activities.
• Fine-tune performance and address operational issues, including those related to RPA Bots.
• Support end-to-end implementation, covering design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Investigate and document best practices and alternative solutions for future development.
• Drive and support incident and change management.
• Serve as the single point of contact for technical support and guidance.
• Be flexible and adaptable to work with various automation tools as needed.
• Efficiently design and build instructions to automate assigned business workflows.
• Adhere to procedures, policies, and documentation requirements throughout project phases.
• Mentor and guide other Automation Engineers through code reviews, development sessions, and pair-programming.
• Troubleshoot issues during software development processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a software development role.
• Experience with web development technologies, with a preference for JavaScript and C#.
• Experience with RPA Software (e.g., Automation Anywhere - Preferred, BluePrism, UI Path, WorkFusion) is advantageous.
• Proven experience in assessing automation opportunities from a technical perspective and performing due diligence to arrive at optimal solutions.
• Ability to define the technical framework considering access methods, user authentication, IT security, application landscape, and hosting environments.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand existing systems and propose solutions accordingly.
• Excellent written skills with the ability to clearly document and explain business processes and automated solution designs.
• Ability to discuss and drive solutions across cross-functional groups.
• Effective communication and interaction with diverse groups, including executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
• Proficiency in explaining and demonstrating ideas to a large audience with excellent presentation skills.
• Effective stakeholder management across multiple verticals and sharing timely updates with senior management.
• Experience and understanding in documenting business processes using UML or BPMN notation.
• Experience working with a pharmaceutical/healthcare company or a client on the IT side is a plus.
