Senior Legal Manager

Responsibilities:

Real Estate Legal Research & Analysis:

- Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on a wide range of real estate-related issues, including land use regulations, zoning laws, environmental laws, and RERA compliance.

Commercial Real Estate Transactions:

- Provide legal counsel and support on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, joint ventures, and financing.

Real Estate Development:

- Advise on all legal and regulatory aspects of real estate development projects, from inception to completion, including land acquisition, planning, construction, and marketing.

Land Title Verification & Due Diligence:

- Conduct thorough due diligence investigations on land titles, including searches, verifications, and analysis of legal documents.

- Manage the entire due diligence process for various real estate projects.

Litigation Support:

- Conduct legal research on criminal and civil litigation matters.

- Prepare briefs for senior counsels and draft court filings.

- Provide comprehensive litigation support in courts, including attending hearings and meetings.

Legal Drafting & Review:

- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, including contracts, leases, deeds, Joint Development Agreements, and other real estate-related agreements.

RERA Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with all applicable RERA regulations and advise on strategies to mitigate risks.

Legal Representation:

- Represent the company in legal proceedings, negotiations, and court hearings.

Risk Management:

- Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks associated with real estate operations.

Reporting & Communication:

- Prepare and present reports on legal activities, risks, and issues to senior management.

Team Management:

- (Optional, depending on team structure) Guide and mentor junior legal professionals.

Qualifications:

Education: LLB degree from a reputed law school.

Experience: 7-9 years of professional experience in real estate law, with a strong focus on commercial real estate transactions and development.

Expertise:

- In-depth knowledge of Indian Real Estate Laws, including RERA regulations.

- Strong understanding of land laws, contract law, and property law.

- Experience in handling complex legal issues related to real estate development.

- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong drafting and negotiation skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in legal research databases and software
