Role & responsibilities
As a marketing specialist you will support the organization in building the brand in the region in the most relevant way and inline with the national priority and strategy. You will work with the leadership team to build and nurture local networks which include key stakeholders in colleges, on-ground events and influencers. You will be primarily responsible for driving XTCYs marketing strategies through the management of the campus ambassador program. In addition, you will manage the execution of sport and culture events, maximizing communications output and fostering relationships with influencers. Leverage On Premise, Off Premise and New Business opportunities, encompassing local needs and specificities and therefore impacting the heart of local consumers, ultimately leading to the successful development of the business. This is not your regular office job.
Key responsibilities:-
Sampling and University program:-
Recruit, train and manage a team of campus ambassadors (university students) in the region to make XTCY an integral and relevant part of a student’s life
Coach, motivate and mentor campus ambassadors to ensure a consistently positive consumer experience, continually reinforce best practices and delivery against the defined strategy
Understand the student landscape and build tailored campus plans for each university in line with the national student marketing strategy
Manage the day to-day operations of the campus ambassadors ensuring all key performance indicators are met (project/activation targets, can targets, product knowledge) and contributing to greater cut through with students
Communicate clear expectations and guidelines for campus ambassadors to effectively plan and deliver on infusing XTCY into student life during key moments (study, sport, party,
etc.), using a “from students for students” approach to create a credible brand image within universities and win students as loyal XTCY consumers
Event & Influencer Marketing:-
Have an in-depth understanding of the regional sport & culture landscape, trends, and opportunities that exist across the region that will lead to business growth
Establish relationships with Influencers who are credible across various sport & culture space
Develop and maintain regional sport & culture marketing partnerships to drive brand relevancy and consumption
Strategic direction:-
Work closely with the leadership team on the implementation of the marketing strategy and on defining ideas and programs to build brand image and increase understanding of the product functionality on a local level
Drive consumer trial through activities in line with brand values and expectations to win consumers
Drive relevance across a variety of consumption occasions and moments of need through tailored messaging, amplification of occasion campaigns and activating the right big moments in the region.
Work cross functionally, managing internal & external requests in line with regional priorities.
Define ideas and programs which build brand image and increase understanding of the product functionality
Work in conjunction with the regional sales team to build mental availability hand in hand with the physical availability within On Premise, Off Premise and New Business environments and ensuring the product is at arms reach in every field marketing activity
