Manager - Contracts & Corporate Legal - LLB (8-12 yrs)

Manager, Contracts and Corporate Legal will be responsible for managing the company's legal activities relating to contracts and corporate governance. This role requires a seasoned legal professional with experience in negotiating, drafting, and managing complex contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and advising on corporate governance and strategic legal matters. The Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide strategic guidance, and help mitigate legal risks while supporting the organization's business goals.

Contracts Management:

- Lead the contract lifecycle management process, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing complex contracts across various departments.

- Ensure contracts align with organizational standards, risk profiles, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

- Implement policies and processes to streamline contract review and approval, minimize delays, and mitigate potential risks.

Corporate Governance:

- Ensure compliance with corporate governance policies, applicable laws, and industry regulations.

- Maintain and update corporate records, registrations, and documentation for all legal entities under management.

- Develop, review, and update internal policies related to contracts, compliance, and corporate governance.

- Lead training sessions for employees on contract management, regulatory compliance, and risk awareness to foster a culture of compliance and integrity.

Legal Risk Management and Compliance:

- Advise senior management on legal risks associated with contracts and corporate matters, developing strategies to mitigate potential issues.

- Ensure the organization remains compliant with local, state, and federal regulations and applicable industry standards.

Reporting and Analysis:

- Prepare regular reports and updates on contract status, legal issues, and corporate compliance for senior leadership and board meetings.

- Monitor legal and industry trends, advising senior leadership on relevant regulatory and legal developments.

Law Graduate from a reputed institute

8-12 years of post-qualification with a reputed organization or a financial services company
