Job Title: Procurement Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Lifecycle Management:
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and gather requirements
• Source and select suppliers, issue RFPs/RFQs, and conduct negotiations
• Develop and manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality and reliability
• Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance and performance
• Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and budget alignment
• Data Analysis & Reporting:
• Monitor market trends and pricing to inform procurement strategies
• Track procurement performance using KPIs and provide regular reports
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and contracts
• Cost Management & Budgeting:
• Monitor and manage procurement costs to adhere to budgets
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities
• Analyze spend data to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization
• Supplier Performance & Risk Management:
• Regularly assess supplier performance and compliance
• Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders to resolve issues
• Compliance & Process Improvement:
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulations
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
• Assist with audits to ensure compliance and best practices

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education:
• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
• Professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are preferred but not required
• Experience:
• Minimum of 4 years in procurement or supply chain management
• Proven experience in supplier negotiation and contract management
• Experience with procurement software tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of the full procurement cycle
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
• Analytical skills to interpret procurement data and identify trends
• Attention to detail in managing contracts and orders
• Understanding of budgeting and cost management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proactive problem-solving abilities
• Soft Skills:
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team setting
