Senior Executive - Procurement

Role & responsibilities

- Work on PR to PO conversion for Raw materials, Spares and Capex equipment's / machines requirement from Plants

- Send RFQ to Suppliers for respective items, achieve cost reduction by negotiation with suppliers, alternate source development. Follow up for ontime material delivery with Local as well as Global Suppliers

- Resolve supplier payment issues, Improve business relations with strategic suppliers, Supplier capacity assessment, planning and enhancement based on requirements. Conflict management in case of escalations from suppliers or Plant

- Manage vendor relationships and assist in building effective partnerships.

- Secure Procurement compliances with Internal company Process, policies and KPI

- Supplier Market Analysis

- Prepare & negotiate agreements / contracts with applicable suppliers

- Assist department in developing and implementing purchasing strategies for products

Eligibility Criteria

- Diploma or BE - Mechanical / Production / Industrial with 4+ years of experience in industrial procurement.

- Good knowledge & exposure on Capital assets procurements like machinery, Gensets, molds etc.

- Understand easily complex technical matters ,understand easily complex business matters.

- Well versed with Import / Export knowledge
