Job Role
- Installing electrical wiring in new construction projects such as office buildings, schools, shopping malls, and factories
- Installing electrical wiring to support new technology such as computer networks or telephone systems
- Repairing electrical wiring in existing buildings, using hand tools such as drills, screwdrivers, and pliers, or specialized equipment such as voltage meters and soldering irons
- Installing electrical fixtures such as light fixtures and receptacles (outlets) on walls and ceilings
- Installing electrical equipment such as lighting controls, security systems, and fire alarms
- Installing electrical wiring for machinery and equipment such as motors, generators, motors, pumps, and compressors
- Installing electrical equipment such as circuit breakers, transformers, and switchgear
- Installing electrical wiring in new construction projects such as office buildings, schools, shopping malls, and factories
