Quality Manager - Automotive industry exp. is mandatory

Responsibilities:

• Pre-dispatch inspections and First Article product verification at supplier premises Define the Inspection Plan for new products, obtain customer approval, and manage revisions in case of any drawing updates
• Define and implement Inspection criteria, sampling plans, and checking methods for incoming materials at warehouse.
• Coordinate with Quality team to conduct supplier audits, process capability studies (Cp, Cpk), and FMEA reviews to assess manufacturing and quality capabilities of suppliers.
• Work closely with suppliers to resolve quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement.
• Conduct Mentor meetings with suppliers to review the corrective action implementation status and lead continuous improvement projects (Kaizen) to enhance supplier quality performance
• Conduct Root cause analysis and corrective action (CAPA) reports for Customer and Internal (Warehouse) Complaints.

Quality Systems:

• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 27001. TISAX standards.
• Responsible for conduct QMS and ISMS Internal Audit as per the schedule and corrective action implementation.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions for inspection and quality control activities at warehouse includes Kitting and Packaging Operations.
• Coordinate with HR for quality inspectors and other relevant personnel training
• Prepare and present Monthly / Quarterly quality reports, department KPI analysis, and supplier performance metrics to management.
• Attend Conference call with Customers and ensure customer specifications are met.
• Coordinate with Internal IT team for ERP and Dashboard improvements

Qualifications & Skills:

• BE Mechanical engineering
• 10+ years of experience in quality management, supplier quality assurance, preferably in automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and ISO 9001 standards.
• Proficiency in problem-solving tools such as 8D, Fishbone, and 5-Why analysis.
• Hands-on experience with CMM, Vernier, Micrometre, surface finish testing, hardness testing and other metrology equipment.
• Excellent communication skills to work with domestic and global suppliers.
• Certification in Internal Auditor ISO 9001: 2015 is preferred
