Lead Golang Backend Engineer (8-10 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement robust and maintainable backend applications using Golang.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, data science, frontend) to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Utilize Golang's concurrency features to build high-performance and efficient backend systems.

- Integrate with Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming (a plus).

- Work with big data technologies (Spark a plus) to process and analyze large datasets.

- Leverage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to deploy and manage backend services.

- Implement security best practices to ensure data privacy and system integrity.

- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and functionality.

- Participate in code reviews, identify and resolve technical issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of code quality.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Golang, cloud technologies, and big data frameworks.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

- Minimum of 8 years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on backend development.

- In-depth knowledge of Golang and its capabilities for building scalable and concurrent applications.

- Experience with a public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for deploying and managing backend services.

- Familiarity with big data technologies (Spark a plus) and data processing concepts.

- A strong understanding of data security principles and best practices.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
