SAP ABAP Developer (5-7 yrs)

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement complex business logic using SAP ABAP on the HANA platform.

- Utilize a deep understanding of ABAP syntax, data structures, and control flow statements to create robust and maintainable code.

- Leverage object-oriented programming (OOPS) principles to design reusable and modular ABAP components.

- Possess hands-on experience in creating and consuming OData services for data integration.

- Effectively utilize SAP HANA features like CDS views and AMDP to optimize performance and data access.

- Debug and troubleshoot existing ABAP programs, identify root causes of issues, and propose effective solutions.

- Collaborate with business analysts and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Participate in the implementation and support of SAP projects, ensuring successful project delivery and ongoing system stability.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in SAP ABAP and HANA technologies.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master's degree a plus).

- 5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.

- In-depth knowledge of ABAP syntax, data structures, control flow statements, and debugging techniques.

- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOPS) concepts in ABAP.

- Hands-on experience with creating and consuming OData services.

- Experience with SAP HANA features like CDS views and AMDP is a strong plus.

- Experience with SAP enhancement mechanisms (user exits, BAdIs, enhancements) and SAP form development (including Adobe Forms) is a plus.

- Experience working on 2-3 SAP modules (e., FI, SD, MM) is a plus.

- Familiarity with SAP business processes and workflows is a plus
