Senior Backend Engineer - Java Technologies (5-6 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design and implement complex backend solutions for critical business workflows.

- Take full ownership of assigned components, including design, development, testing, integration, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.

- Champion high-quality code by writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented Java code.

- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure optimal system efficiency.

- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.

- Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams (product, QA, UI/UX, and management) to ensure project alignment and successful delivery.

- Deliver high-quality work on time and within budget, embracing the fast-paced and dynamic nature of a startup.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master's degree a plus).

- 5+ years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on Java and object-oriented programming.

- Proven experience in building and scaling microservices architectures.

- Solid understanding of at least one NoSQL database (e., MongoDB, Cassandra) and experience with relational databases (e., MySQL, PostgreSQL) is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and diagnose root causes.

- A strong sense of code ownership and a commitment to maintaining high code quality standards within the team.
