Job Description

Take a senior role across the Assurance Well Managed team including leading coaching broader team as required, identification and resolution of more complex risk matters.

Support the Senior Assurance and Well Managed Manager with more complex risk matters across the value chain including process improvements, uplift and opportunities including governance and oversight activities at a variety of risk forums and committees.
Support the Assurance Well Managed Lead deliver on critical requirements for the segment you support within Australia and the Global Capability Centre (GCC).
Provide assurance over quality and adequacy of risks, controls, treatments, events, audit items, Change Management etc.
Provide reporting and insights, identify trends and make recommendations in relation to how risks are being identified, assessed and treated across the segment.
Partner with businesses to support them in delivering their own risk management accountabilities (e.g. Changes, events, treatments, Control design, risk forums) via provision of input, expertise, coaching and guidance.
Deliver solutions and advice that are sustainable in design and operation improving risk maturity and embedding.
Mature risk management ecosystem, including proactively identifying and responding to internal/external influences at a segment level.
Drive improvement in risk capability/culture/awareness and promote operational risk management as a core capability across all Business Units.

Risk Management: Logical and pragmatic approach to identifying, analysing, evaluating, and treating risks associated with various activities, enabling the organization to minimize losses and maximize opportunities.
Communication: Proficiency in conveying and comprehending information effectively in both spoken and written formats.
Commercial Acumen: Keen understanding of the organizations operations, market dynamics, and external pressures to identify trends and develop strategies that drive efficiency and create long-term value.
Critical Thinking: Ability to use logic and reasoning to analyse, evaluate, and synthesize information, facilitating informed decision-making.
Incident Management: Skill in processing and coordinating timely responses to incident reports, directing requests to appropriate functions for resolution, and keeping stakeholders informed of progress toward service restoration.
Risk and Issue Management: Competence in identifying and assessing risks, determining corrective actions to control or eliminate them, and effectively managing issues as they arise.
Planning and Prioritization: Expertise in organizing tasks and resources to meet customer needs and strategic priorities, including identifying dependencies and ensuring timely delivery.
Controls Design: Ability to specify and design controls (e.g., processes, devices, or practices) to prevent, detect, or remediate identified risks.
Relationship Building: Aptitude for building and nurturing internal and external relationships, fostering trust and empathy to facilitate collaboration and achieve mutual goals.
