Job Description

As an Engineer in the Employee Experience Workplace Tribe, you are accountable for:

Designing, building, testing, and supporting applications and underlying bank infrastructure to ensure the best workplace experience for ANZ staff.
Optimizing end-to-end customer journeys, continually improving the customer experience by devising new, innovative solutions, services, products, or propositions.
Providing 24/7 on-call support based on shifts and rosters, ensuring that customer and user needs are met promptly and efficiently.
Collaborating effectively with squad members to ensure outcomes meet customer/end-user expectations and contributing to the successful delivery of the team s mission.
Continuously challenging the status quo, advocating for continuous improvement, and finding better ways to enhance workplace solutions for staff and customers.

What will you bring

Must have knowledge, skills and experiences

Expertise in managing Windows 365 Cloud PCs, including provisioning, configuration, and troubleshooting of virtual desktops.
Proven experience with Citrix Virtual Desktops, including proficiency in Citrix Studio, Citrix Director, and application delivery.
Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving issues related to Citrix and Windows 365 Cloud PCs, including client connection problems, server performance issues, application publishing failures, and user access challenges.
Knowledge of Windows Server environments, with a particular focus on Citrix XenApp, which relies on a robust Windows Server OS foundation (e.g., 2012/2016/2019), particularly in managing Citrix server infrastructure.
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, routing, and network security principles.
Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automating administrative tasks within virtual desktop environments and cloud-based infrastructures.
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to resolve complex IT issues efficiently.
Experience providing 24/7 on-call support in a shift-based environment, ensuring consistent system uptime and reliability.

Good to have knowledge, skills and experiences

Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Manager or similar device management tools for provisioning and managing virtual desktops.
Experience with cloud infrastructure management (Azure) and integrating with virtual desktop solutions.
Knowledge of virtual desktop performance optimization and troubleshooting techniques for high availability environments.
Experience in working with cross-functional teams to deliver projects, focusing on both technical and user-centred outcomes.
Familiarity with ITIL or other service management frameworks to help streamline processes for incident, change, and problem management.
Experience with Active Directory management, group policies, and user management for virtual desktop environments.
