Manager/ Assistant Manager - MEP

Key responsibilities:

• Leading the MEP design team, ensuring compliance with project specifications and local codes. 
• Selecting and managing MEP contractors, negotiating contracts, and monitoring performance. 
• Reviewing and approving MEP shop drawings, coordinating with other disciplines (civil, structural, architectural) 
• Overseeing site installation and commissioning of MEP systems, ensuring quality control 
• Managing MEP budgets, cost control, and schedule adherence 
• Identifying and resolving technical challenges related to MEP systems 
• Liaising with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders on MEP matters 

Important skills for both roles:

• Strong understanding of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection)
• Proficiency in MEP design software (AutoCAD, Revit)
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with multiple stakeholders
• Technical knowledge of building codes and regulations
• Project management skills including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering. 
• Minimum 15-18 years of experience in MEP design and construction management within the building construction industry. 
• Proven track record of successfully managing MEP projects from design to completion. 
• Strong understanding of construction practices and project delivery methodologies.
