Cohesity - SAP ABAP Consutant - S/4 HANA Module (3-10 yrs)

Education : BCA/BE/BTech/MSc/MCA/MTech

Key Responsibilities :

SAP ABAP Development :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy ABAP programs (Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms, Conversions) for SAP S/4HANA.

- Utilize ABAP Objects, CDS Views, and OData services to create efficient and maintainable solutions.

- Leverage S/4HANA-specific features like Core Data Services (CDS) and ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) to build modern applications.

S/4HANA Implementation :

- Participate in the entire S/4HANA implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.

- Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Configure and customize S/4HANA modules to meet specific business needs.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ABAP and S/4HANA.

Integration and Data Migration :

- Design and develop interfaces to integrate S/4HANA with other systems using technologies like IDoc, ALE, BAPI, and APIs.

- Perform data migration activities, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

- Utilize tools like Data Services and Data Intelligence to streamline data migration and integration.

Performance Optimization :

- Analyze system performance and identify bottlenecks.

- Implement performance optimization techniques, such as indexing, query optimization, and code optimization.

User Experience :

- Develop user-friendly interfaces and reports using technologies like ABAP Web Dynpro, Fiori, and UI5.

- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create intuitive and visually appealing user experiences.

Required Skills :

Primary Skills :

- Strong proficiency in ABAP programming language

- In-depth knowledge of S/4HANA architecture, data models, and core functionalities

- Experience in implementing S/4HANA projects

Secondary Skills :

- Knowledge of BODS, MDG, CAP, RAP, UI5, Fiori, and CPI

- Experience with ABAP Objects, CDS Views, and OData services

- Understanding of functional processes like FI, CO, SD, MM, PP, etc.

- Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Desired Skills :

- Experience with SAP HANA database and SQL

- Knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform (SCP) and SAP Integration Suite

- Certification in SAP ABAP or S/4HANA.
