Plant Head/ Plant general manager

Spearheading the manufacturing processes through the application of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles Managing all plant operations, including shipping, receiving, maintaining and production with extra office responsibilities Administering production control, keeping control over activities & analyzing processes for stabilization thereby ensuring smooth operations Supervising the generation of maximum profitability and ensuring full production levels were met while simultaneously perform ing safety, quality, cost, and inventory management within operating budget constraints Directing all employee disciplinary and training programs, and plant improvement projects Augmenting standards and regulations along with implementing policies in company handbook for hiring and training of employees Identifying suppliers and administering the development of Jigs, Fixture, Tooling and manufacturing in In -house and through suppliers; validating & calibrating the same as per time plans Conceptualizing & implementing systems & operating procedures to optimize resource/capacity utilization in Manufacturing Processes with focus on customers, performing capacity analysis for assembly lines with industrial engineering team Preparing project specific control & test plans, reviewing procedures and maintaining QC documentation to ensure adequate documented evidence is available to prove contract compliance, ensuring the preparation, review and updating of Poke Yoke identification sheet and Mater list of Poke Yoke Studying manufacturing process capability, performance capability & machine capability and reporting the same to top management for making improvement in the same Role & responsibilities
