Overview:
- We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager + Sales professional with a strong background in data services and solutions.
- This role requires an individual who understands the data industry and can effectively manage client relationships, drive sales, and deliver data-driven solutions.
- You will be responsible for managing existing client accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality data services and consulting solutions.
- The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the data industry, with a deep understanding of data-driven solutions, analytics, cloud technologies, and data management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage client relationships and grow business within existing accounts by providing data-driven IT services and consulting solutions tailored to the client's needs.
- Drive sales initiatives focused on data services such as data analytics, data migration, data governance, and cloud data solutions.
- Develop and deliver customized data solutions that meet client objectives in areas like data transformation, business intelligence, and data integration.
- Identify new business opportunities in the data industry, including cloud-based data services, data management, and big data solutions.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (sales, technical, delivery) to ensure successful project execution, timely delivery, and client satisfaction.
- Build and present proposals and presentations that highlight the value of data solutions and the potential ROI for clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing ongoing projects, addressing issues, and ensuring continuous value delivery.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and client needs in the data industry to adjust sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Provide regular updates on sales performance, customer feedback, and potential risks to the leadership team.
- Travel to client locations for meetings, presentations, and engagements as necessary to ensure the successful delivery of data solutions.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in account management and sales within the data services, IT services, or consulting industry.
- In-depth understanding of the data industry, including data analytics, cloud data platforms, data governance, and data management solutions.
- Proven ability to identify business opportunities and close sales related to data services, including big data, data integration, and analytics solutions.
- Strong experience in client relationship management, understanding business needs, and delivering tailored data solutions.
- Proficient in presenting and negotiating solutions that are complex and involve technical elements related to data services.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud for data services (such as data lakes, data warehousing, and business intelligence).
- Familiarity with data security, data privacy regulations, and best practices for managing large datasets.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for dealing with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Degree in Business, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc. ) to manage client interactions and sales pipelines.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, presentations, and project engagements.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience selling cloud-based data services, data analytics, data warehousing, and business intelligence solutions.
- Familiarity with advanced analytics tools (e. , Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
- Exposure to data governance tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning services in the context of data.
