Job Description - Regional Sales Manager


Working days: 5.5 days working (2nd and 4th Saturday off)

Shift Timings: 9:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Office location: 1, Mathura Road, Block A, DLF Industrial Area, Sector 32, Faridabad, Haryana 121003


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets for the assigned region, specifically focusing on chain institutions like fitness centers and wellness chains.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to understand the competitive landscape, customer needs, and market trends in the medical device industry, particularly for health and fitness chains.
  • Work with the marketing team to ensure products are positioned well to appeal to chain institutions, understanding their unique needs for medical equipment, wellness products, or devices related to fitness, health, or rehabilitation.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within the chain institutions (e.g., managers, directors, executives) to drive business growth.
  • Establish long-term partnerships with chain institutions to ensure customer loyalty and repeat sales.
  • Provide ongoing product education to institutional clients (e.g., trainers, wellness managers) to ensure proper product use, and to promote the benefits of the medical devices.
  • Drive sales to meet or exceed regional revenue targets for medical devices, ensuring that key chain accounts are fully optimized for sales.
  • Track sales metrics and KPIs, adjusting strategies to ensure sales targets are consistently met or surpassed.
  • Lead and motivate a sales team within the region, setting clear objectives and goals for individual team members.
  • Provide ongoing training to the sales team on product knowledge, market trends, and effective sales techniques to ensure they are equipped to sell to chain institutions.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration within the team and with other departments, such as marketing, customer support, and product development.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the chain institutions sector to increase the regions market share.
  • Attend industry-related events, conferences, and trade shows to network with key players in the medical and fitness industries, and to keep abreast of new developments in the market.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with chain institutions to secure long-term agreements and sales.
  • Work closely with the sales team to close large deals and maintain good relationships to ensure continued business.
  • Provide feedback from customers (e.g., chain institutions) to the product development team to influence future product offerings and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to tailor campaigns that appeal to chain institutions and increase brand awareness within the region.
  • Ensure that all sales processes comply with regional regulations and industry standards, related to medical device usage and safety standards.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the medical devices, their benefits, and how they integrate with the wellness services provided by chain institutions like gyms and health centers.
  • Provide regular forecasts and updates to senior management on sales progress, market conditions, and potential risks.
  • Share insights into customer behavior, competitor activity, and regional trends to inform decision making and sales strategies.
  • Work closely with the customer service team to address any post-sales concerns, ensuring client satisfaction and resolving any product-related issues promptly.
  • Address customer concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.

Requirement and Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a managerial sales role, preferably within the medical device industry, and with a focus on cardio products.
  • Education: Masters degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of cardio products and how they are applied within fitness and wellness industries.
  • Industry Experience: Prior experience in corporate sales or institutional sales within fitness chains, gyms, or wellness centers is a must.

  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
  • Data-driven decision-making with a focus on performance metrics.
