Job Description - Business Manager

Working days:

• 6 days working
• 2nd and 4th Saturday off

Shift Timings: 9:00AM - 6:30PM

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and objectives for the CardioCheck, ThermaCheck, Cavaterm and wound Viewer system line.
• Take ownership of the profit and loss (P&L) for the National Sales division. Monitor and manage revenue, expenses and profit margins to ensure financial goals are met or exceeded.
• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Zonal Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager,
• Area Sales Manager, Sales Executives and Support Staff. Provide coaching, guidance and feedback to ensure the achievement of sales targets.
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and potential customers to expand the company's market share in India.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, physicians, hospitals, and other stakeholders in the medical community.
• Train and manage the sales team to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to promote and sell the CardioCheck, ThermaCheck, Cavaterm and wound Viewer system line effectively.
• Identify and onboard new dealers/distributors and ensure they are adequately trained on the product portfolio and company policies.
• Maintain strong relationships with key dealers and distributors, regularly meeting with them to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
• Design and implement incentive schemes to motivate dealers/distributors to increase their sales efforts.
• Coordinate with distributors to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained to avoid stock outs or overstock situations.
• Ensure dealers and distributors receive adequate after-sales service, including product training and troubleshooting, to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Address and resolve any issues or complaints from dealers/distributors in a timely manner to maintain long-term partnerships.
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional campaigns and materials to increase product awareness and sales.
• Collect and analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and challenges and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
• Monitor and manage the sales budget to ensure the effective and efficient use of resources.

Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
• Extensive experience in sales and sales management with the medical or healthcare industry (preferred) with minimum 5 years of experience at National Sales Manager or Zonal Sales Manager level.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and maintaining a P&L.
• Experience in selling medical devices or equipment is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Willingness to travel extensively within India and occasionally abroad as needed.
