Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant with a minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting and finance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily financial transactions, preparing financial reports, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulations. This role is perfect for an individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and has strong expertise in accounting principles, financial reporting, and budget management.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Perform general accounting duties such as reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals.
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures.
Prepare financial reports for management review, highlighting key financial metrics and performance.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
Review and process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
Manage payroll processing and benefits administration.
Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
Prepare and assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and data.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial operations and performance.
Liaise with external stakeholders such as auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of professional accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or other ERP systems).
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office applications.
Solid understanding of financial reporting and analysis.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication skills (both written and verbal).
Preferred Skills:
CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
Experience with international accounting practices or multi-currency accounting.
Previous experience in [specifically manufacturing, FMCG, etc.].
