Accounting Manager

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage all aspects of accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, general ledger entries, bank reconciliation, credit card expense report reconciliation, cash applications, collections, and payroll.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial processing, month-end close, cash management reports, and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Oversee cash management, including international wire transfers, ACH payments, and maintaining lines of credit.
• Maintain professional banking relationships.
• Coordinate and direct the development and preparation of budgets, forecasts, and projections.
• Review payroll taxes and ensure timely payment of payroll and corporate taxes.
• Manage direct and indirect tax returns (GST, IT return, including TDS/TCS compliance).
• Maintain foreign currency exchange tables.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, along with various detailed analysis reports.
• Negotiate the companys insurance policies annually or as needed for financial benefit, including physical damage, liability, and workers' compensation, while overseeing the claims submission process to ensure adherence to loss control measures.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Strong leadership, management, and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and reasoning abilities with superior numeric skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Result- and profit-oriented mindset, with the ability to balance business considerations and multitask effectively.
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of functioning independently.
• Ability to manage, direct, and resolve employee conflicts, problems, and complaints.
• Expertise in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook, with a focus on data integration and automation.
• Experience with Navision accounting software.
• Advanced Excel skills, including handling large datasets and financial modeling.

MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
• CA Inter with 10+ years of experience in accounting and officer-level exposure.
