Accounts Manager

Financial Management:

• Oversee the financial operations of the construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial records.

Team Leadership:

• Lead, mentor, and manage the accounting team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
• Allocate tasks and responsibilities effectively to ensure efficiency and productivity within the team.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Project Accounting:

• Monitor and manage the financial aspects of multiple construction projects, including cost tracking, revenue recognition, and profitability analysis.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and financial standards specific to the construction industry.

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports to senior management.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Develop and maintain project budgets, ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives.
• Perform regular forecasting to anticipate financial needs and constraints.

Audit and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures.
• Coordinate and manage internal and external audits.

Cost Control:

• Implement cost control measures to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
• Analyze cost variances and recommend corrective actions.

Risk Management:

• Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Ensure proper financial controls are in place to safeguard company assets.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Liaise with project managers, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Technology Utilization:

• Utilize accounting software and other financial tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Stay updated with the latest financial technology trends and implement them as needed.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the construction industry.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ERP systems used in the construction industry.
• Should have Vast experience in LC & BG.
• Advanced knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects from a financial perspective.
