Procurement Manager

Role & Responsibilities:

• Procurement Strategy & Planning
• Develop and implement procurement strategies for efficient sourcing of materials and equipment.
• Ensure cost-effective purchasing without compromising quality and project timelines.
• Vendor & Supplier Management
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure the best quality and pricing.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships for timely deliveries and long-term partnerships.
• Inventory & Supply Chain Management
  
• Monitor stock levels and forecast material requirements based on project schedules.
• Prevent shortages or excess inventory, reducing wastage and optimizing costs.
• Compliance & Documentation
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and government regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and vendor agreements for audit purposes.
• Cost Control & Budgeting
• Work closely with finance and project teams to track and control procurement budgets.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining efficiency and quality.
• Coordination with Project Teams
• Collaborate with site engineers, project managers, and store managers to align procurement with project needs.
• Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid project delays.
• Risk Management & Quality Assurance
• Assess risks related to supply chain disruptions and develop contingency plans.
• Ensure procurement of high-quality materials that meet industry standards and project specifications.
