Procurement Manager

Professional Summary:

• We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Procurement Manager to oversee and manage the procurement processes for our ATC Control Tower projects in India and other countries.
• The ideal candidate will ensure timely sourcing of quality materials and services while optimizing costs and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
• Should have worked in the Construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets.
• Should set up systems and processes to identify new vendors and induct them as per Company guidelines and standards. Should undertake travel to inspect and interview new vendors before taking them on board.
• Should be ready to travel across India and other countries from time to time to inspect materials at various locations.
• Source, negotiate and establish contracts with suppliers and subcontractors pan India.
• Ensure compliance with organizational and legal procurement policies.
• Manage procurement schedules of Site Teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Evaluate supplier performance and maintain robust vendor relationships.
• Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to meet project requirements.
• Should have knowledge of construction related materials, current prices and must instil systems to do forward planning and mitigating delays and SNAFUS.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• B.Tech/B.E., MBA in Supply Chain Management or Diploma in Civil/Construction Engineering preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience in procurement management within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of procurement regulations, contract management and supplier evaluation.
• Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and decision-making skills.

Communication:

• Excellent English writing skills.
• Fluency in conversing in English and Hindi is a must.
