Account Executive

Role & responsibilities

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to manage and oversee the financial transactions and records of the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and the ability to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Record all financial transactions, ensuring they are properly categorized and reconciled.
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts, ensuring timely and accurate transactions. Monitor outstanding balances and follow up with customers or vendors.
• Perform bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial data is accurate.
• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of documentation for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Track and manage company expenses to ensure adherence to the budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Adhere to GST Compliances- Preparation and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B Returns.
• Tax deducted at source preparation of details, payments, and filing of return.
• Perform analysis in certain key access of business such as sales, pricing, and profitability to assist management in decision-making.
• Manage cash handling, voucher making, petty cash, and tallying tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure timely completion of daily accounting tasks to maintain financial records in Tally ERP 9 software.
• Collaborate with other team members to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts receivable or payable.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant, with knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of tax laws and compliance regulations.
