Ampverse, Asia s largest ecosystem of gaming and entertainment communities and IPs, has joined forces with DMI Group in India, forming a strategic joint venture. The primary objective of this partnership is to bolster the esports and gaming ecosystem in the country and create a dedicated platform to nurture and promote college esports talents. Leveraging Ampverse s expertise in building esports and gaming communities and DMI Finance s financial prowess, the joint venture aspires to revolutionize the gaming ecosystem in India. They plan to achieve this by developing a series of Gaming IPs including a national collegiate Esports platform, hosting on-ground activations, forging partnerships with influential gaming figures, and establishing mentorship programs to nurture up-and-coming college Esports talent. The first co-developed IP, College Rivals - Esports Series was launched in August 2023. Central to their mission is the idea of fostering inclusivity, diversity, and excellence within the Indian Gaming community. They aim to provide opportunities to a wide range of talents, irrespective of backgrounds or identities, with the goal of empowering the gaming community as a whole. The decision to focus on India is backed by the rapid growth of Gaming within the country as well as the revolutionary growth of the Creators Economy.

About the Role:

As a Digital Ad Sales Manager, you will spearhead the creation of innovative digital advertising solutions, bridging brands with the vibrant gaming and esports community. Your expertise in digital platforms and audience insights will drive impactful campaigns that set new benchmarks in gaming-focused advertising.


Responsibility:-


  • Develop and execute sales plans to drive revenue across Ampverse s digital properties, including web, social media, and streaming platforms.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with brands, agencies, and media buyers to position Ampverse as their go-to partner for digital advertising solutions.
  • The candidate is expected to drive the execution roadmap of the Ads business and work towards ensuring that Ad Sales become a critical part of Ampverse revenue in the medium to long term
  • Analyze week-on-week revenue trends and identify levers to unlock opportunities for ad adoption and spends
  • Create bespoke ad solutions, from banner ads and programmatic placements to native content and influencer-led campaigns, that resonate with gaming audiences.
  • Use audience analytics, gaming trends, and campaign performance data to craft compelling proposals and deliver measurable ROI.
  • Keep up with the latest in digital advertising, gaming culture, and platform innovations to identify new opportunities and refine Ampverse s offerings.
  • Work with internal creative, content, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and optimal client satisfaction.

Qualification & Skills:-


  • 3-6 years of experience in digital ad sales,with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Experience working with an Ad Agency, Media, Gaming, OTT & Entertainment companies.
  • Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including programmatic ads, social media platforms, and native advertising.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to pitch innovative ad solutions.
