Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Account Management & Merchandizer Relations:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key platform merchandizers to optimize product visibility and placement.
  • Drive new platform onboarding and signups to expand the companys e-commerce footprint.
  • Lead Joint Business Planning (JBP), Annual Operating Plans (AOP), and monitor progress against set objectives with platform partners.
  • Negotiate rebates, discounts, and promotional deals, ensuring profitability and competitiveness.
  • Website Sales Management:
  • Oversee sales and performance for multiple brand websites.
  • Create and execute traffic-driving strategies, ensuring high conversion rates across platforms.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams for SEO, SEM and personalized brand content.
  • Monitor analytics for each brand’s website, identifying areas for improvement in user experience and sales funnel optimization.
  • Pricing & Promotions Management:
  • Oversee and manage pricing masters to ensure consistent and up-to-date pricing across all platforms.
  • Implement and execute pricing strategies and handle opt-ins management for platform-specific promotional deals.
  • Maintain accurate pricing and deals execution to ensure product competitiveness.
  • Ratings & Reviews Management:
  • Oversee ratings and reviews management to maintain and improve product ratings on e-commerce platforms.
  • Develop strategies to solicit and respond to customer reviews, addressing any issues and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze review data and insights to inform product improvements, marketing messaging, and listing optimization.
  • Operations & Inventory Planning:
  • Collaborate with internal teams to manage inventory planning for both own and flex sites, ensuring optimal stock levels.
  • Ensure the smooth reconciliation of payments and invoices with platform partners.
  • Lead inventory planning to align with demand forecasting and minimize stock-outs.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
  • Monitor account health by tracking key performance metrics such as sales, inventory levels, ratings, and returns.
  • Generate business reports to present insights on account performance, pricing strategies, and promotional effectiveness.
  • Work with marketing teams to oversee performance marketing execution, including paid campaigns on brand.com and third-party platforms.
  • Returns & Risk Management:
  • Manage product returns and customer service-related concerns, working to minimize return rates and improve the post-purchase experience.
  • Identify risks to account performance, such as low inventory or negative reviews, and implement corrective measures.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Coordinate with supply chain, product, marketing, and finance teams to ensure alignment on business objectives and execution.
  • Oversee returns management, ensuring timely resolutions with platform partners.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields (MBA preferred).
  • 3-5+ years of experience in e-commerce account management, sales, or a related role.
  • Expertise in managing pricing strategies, account negotiations, and business planning with key e-commerce platforms.
  • Experience with inventory management, ratings and reviews strategies, and optimizing customer feedback for better performance.
  • Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in using tools like Excel, Google Analytics, or CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with managing performance marketing, especially on platforms like brand.com or e-commerce marketplaces.
  • Familiarity with ratings and reviews management tools and strategies.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platform algorithms and SEO best practices.
