Job Description

Job Title: Regional Sales Manager Watch Channel (Locations: Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai)

Job Summary:

We are looking for experienced and proactive Regional Sales Managers/ Moder Trade Managers/ General Trade/ to join our Watch channel team, based in Bangalore and Mumbai. The primary responsibility of this role is to appoint, develop, and manage new retail partners to expand our market presence. The ideal candidate should have 7-8 years of experience in channel sales management as an Area Sales Manager or Regional Sales Manager within a related industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Retail Partner Development:

  • Identify, appoint, and onboard new retailers in the assigned region to expand market reach.
  • Foster strong relationships with new and existing retail partners, providing support to maximize their potential and ensure growth.
  • Develop tailored business plans with retailers to drive store-level engagement, sales growth, and brand representation.

2. Sales and Target Achievement:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed targets within the designated territory.
  • Monitor sales performance of each retailer, and work with them to optimize sales and drive sell-through.

3. Market Expansion:

  • Actively seek out opportunities to grow the watch brand in the region by identifying new markets and potential retail partners.
  • Conduct regular market research and analysis to understand the competitive landscape, local market conditions, and customer preferences.

4. Training and Support:

  • Train retailers on product knowledge, brand standards, and effective sales techniques to boost their performance.

5. Reporting and Analysis:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, market intelligence, and account information.
  • Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management on sales performance, retailer growth, and market insights.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience as an Area Sales Manager or Regional Sales Manager, preferably within the watch or related industry.
  • Demonstrated success in retail partner appointment and development.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with retail partners.
  • Proven ability to work independently and strategically in a competitive market.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the territory.
