Java Technical Lead - Spring Frameworks (8-10 yrs)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership :

- Drive the technical direction of projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.

- Architect, design, and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance applications using Java/J2EE technologies.

- Evaluate and implement best practices for coding, design patterns, and architectural frameworks.

Development & Integration :

- Build and maintain microservices using Spring Boot and other Spring frameworks (Spring MVC, Spring Core, Spring Batch).

- Design and implement RESTful and SOAP-based web services for integration with external systems.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and CI/CD pipeline configurations.

Team Management :

- Mentor and lead a team of developers, conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards.

- Facilitate knowledge sharing and provide technical guidance to resolve challenges.

- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

Required Qualifications :

Educational Background : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Technical Expertise :

- 8+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.

Proficiency in the following technologies :

- Java, Spring Boot, Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Batch.

- Microservices architecture and API development.

- Web services (RESTful and SOAP).

- Database technologies, including Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and experience with ORM tools like Hibernate.

- Hands-on experience with application deployment in clustered or distributed environments.

- Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

- Strong understanding of application security, performance tuning, and scalability.

Domain Expertise :

Prior experience working on banking, financial services, or insurance (BFSI) projects is highly preferred.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of DevOps tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, or Gradle.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Experience working in Agile methodologies, with tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising with technical and non-technical stakeholders
