The role will be responsible for creation of a scalable test management strategy for HR System platforms for releases, patches, enhancements, integrations, projects, etc Role will collaborate with service expert and functional teams as we'll as project teams to design reusable test scenarios and cases and review test artifacts to ensure quality, consistency, traceability and adherence to strategy and plan
Job duties will be to manage testing, provide regular updates, and consolidate testing results, metrics & defects
A portion of this role will also help maintain our global Human Resource Systems (incl Workday, Cornerstone and HR ServiceNow, Star Compliance, etc) to perform basic system configuration in support of BAU or road map enhancements and participate in internal and cross-functional projects
Key Responsibilities
Develop a comprehensive test strategy encompassing the objectives, scope, test levels, test techniques.
Create detailed testing plans that outline the test objectives, schedule, deliverables, environment setup.
Collaborate and design reusable test scenarios and cases in a standardized format with testing team that cover all possible functionalities and requirements (including positive/negative paths, outlier and varying conditions with clear steps, inputs, expected outcomes, prerequisites, and dependencies)
Review test artifacts to ensure quality, consistency, traceability and adherence to strategy and plan.
Track defects and ensuring resolution and traceability to cases & requirements.
Evaluating testing process effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement and enhancing quality and efficiency of testing activities through regular maintenance.
Partner with automation teams wherever possible to optimize test management and execution.
Provide testing support to other connected systems.
Help maintain our global Human Resource Systems (incl Workday, Cornerstone and HR ServiceNow) by providing initial Tier II support to cases opened within ServiceNow
Perform basic system configuration in support of BAU or road map enhancements.
Participate in internal and cross-functional projects.
Serves as a testing consultant for functional users, technical staff, and business partners.
Builds strong relationships with Tech and Business Partners across the organization.
Required Qualifications
Expertise in creating test script and executing test cases in HR systems (ideally for Workday, Cornerstone, ServiceNow Service Delivery, among others).
Defect and Resolution Management
Knowledge of test management tools (preferably Jira)
Must have at least 1-3 years of test planning, test case development and execution experience.
Must have at least 1-3 years of broad system administration experience in various applications such as Workday, Cornerstone, HR ServiceNow.
Provide testing tool training and support to multiple stakeholders.
Basic Knowledge of HCM functional area.
Comprehend system requirements to create test templates based on new functionality.
Partner with Stakeholder to understand the requirement and provide strong consultation on testing approach and strategies.
Provide configuration support for various HR systems.
Help business team create effective SOPS.
Knowledge of the system and processes to analyze, design & test
Suggest process improvements on gaps identified during testing.
Broad understanding of other business areas processes and systems that impact HRIS.
Understanding of one or more Workday modules.
