HR Analyst Pharmaceutical Industry

Reports to: GM HR
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical HR Analyst to join our HR team in the pharmaceutical industry. The HR Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting HR data to support decision-making, improve HR processes, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, HR expertise, and an understanding of HR metrics specific to the pharmaceutical sector.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Analytics & Reporting
Collect, analyze, and report HR metrics such as turnover rates, hiring trends, employee engagement, and workforce demographics.
Develop and maintain HR dashboards to provide insights into workforce trends.
Prepare HR reports for senior management, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Use HR data to provide recommendations for improving HR strategies.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
Assist in workforce planning by analyzing hiring trends, skill gaps, and future talent needs.
Support recruitment processes by analyzing candidate data and optimizing hiring strategies.
Monitor hiring compliance with pharmaceutical industry regulations.
Compensation & Benefits Analysis
Analyze salary structures, benefits, and incentives to ensure market competitiveness.
Assist in conducting salary benchmarking and job evaluations.
Provide insights on employee compensation trends and cost optimization.
Employee Engagement & Retention
Assess employee satisfaction and engagement through surveys and feedback mechanisms.
Analyze exit interview data to identify trends in employee turnover.
Recommend strategies to improve employee retention and workplace culture.
HR Compliance & Policy Analysis
Ensure HR policies comply with pharmaceutical industry regulations (FDA, GMP, HIPAA, etc.) and labor laws.
Conduct compliance audits and recommend policy updates as needed.
Maintain HR documentation and ensure accuracy in employee records.
HR Technology & Process Improvement
Support HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) management and data integrity.
Identify opportunities to automate HR processes and improve efficiency.
Assist in implementing HR technology solutions.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field. (Master’s degree is a plus.)
Experience: 2+ years of HR analytics experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
Proficiency in HRIS, Excel, Power BI, and HR analytics tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Knowledge of HR policies, employment laws, and compliance regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

SHRM-CP / SHRM-SCP
PHR / SPHR
HR Analytics Certification
