• Taking your place as a core member of an agile team driving the latest development practices
• Writing code and unit tests, working with API specs and automation
• Identifying opportunities for adopting new technologies

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the end to end data strategy, Governance and Delivery for assigned applications
• Perform hands-on design, and development of systems
• Participate in Solution management discussions to drive solutions for the Enterprise.
• Define a framework comprised of guidelines, processes, tools, and loosely coupled reusable components, to support quality of data for all interfaces, system feeds
• Ability to solution and implement onto the processes quickly for the team.
• Perform rapid Pilot/POCs to experiment various engineering optimization and inner-sourcing techniques
• Function as senior member of an agile team and helps drive consistent development practices w.r.t. tools, common components, and documentation
• Ability to identify cross functional architecture and engineering re-usable opportunities
• Optimize the current architecture and code base for various Cornerstone LUMI centric data pipelines for better TAT
• Support engineers in rapid development and deployment by re-designing revamping the current code base to more global, composable and modularized code
• Provide guiding principles and partner with multi-functional product teams for proactive maintenance of the critical data assets owned by their respective business functions
• Lead data quality issue prevention and remediation; handle exceptions and issues on data quality and run remediation process activities with appropriate data stewards and governance bodies

Minimum Qualifications :

• Computer Science or equivalent degree with minimum of 8+ years of work experience developing large scale applications
• Hands on development experience of large scale application development and workflows using SQL, HQL, Python, PySpark, Java, REST API
• Experience in using Relational databases like SQL Server, MySQL, NOSQL databases like Couchbase.
• Experience in development of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines using Jenkins or any equivalent
• Working knowledge of message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable big data data stores
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interpret the business needs from the Product Owners
• Strong quantitative, data visualization, and reporting skills
• Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
• Familiar/Certified in Agile or other rapid application development methods.
• Self-starter with a strong affinity for driving change
• Demonstrated decision-making skill and ability
• Demonstrated thought leadership skills and ability to develop winning strategies

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience working in Enterprise Digital Analytics or Credit Risk or New Acquisition
• Understanding of demographic/firmographics information in consumer and commercial space
• Understanding of existing Cornerstone Raw/Use Case Data Ingestion Process
• Knowledge of company s Data Quality tools like DQM in Cornerstone
• Understanding hands-on w/ enterprise event based and time based scheduler, Event Engine
