The Credit Fraud Risk team helps drive profitable business growth by reducing the risk of fraud and maintaining our customers confidence in the security of our products. It utilizes an array of tools and ever-evolving technology to detect and combat fraud, minimize the disruption of good spending, and provide a world-class customer experience.
Amex s Risk Products Data Strategy is at the core of delivering the outstanding customer experience while handling credit and fraud losses at lowest levels in the industry. With our mix of assets like closed-loop data, machine learning models, underwriting techniques on a modern technology stack we are re-imagining how payment experiences risk management converge in a more modern, digital, and connected world.
This position is within the Risk Products Data Strategy team as Sr Associate Digital Product Management for Operational Risk Capabilities. The programs key objective is to strengthen CFR control environment through controls, remediation and change management in close partnership with CFR teams such as CFR Operational Risk Excellence, CFR Product Managers, Global Risk Compliance, Global Credit Bureau, Risk Data Management, CFR Global Decision Science, Consumer/Commercial/Fraud Risk Strategy Teams, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for enabling product development for data quality controls monitoring governance for CFR Models, ODLs, and Strategies via CDIT/Qalibrate
Responsible for enabling risk remediation via Risk Remediation (RSRT) Product
Partner with multiple stakeholder teams across CFR, including CFR Operational Risk Excellence, CFR Product Managers, Global Risk Compliance, Global Credit Bureau, Risk Data Management, CFR Global Decision Science, Consumer/Commercial/Fraud Risk Strategy Teams, etc.
Support risk governance, oversight, and audit functions
Demonstrate deeper understanding of evolving risk management space and bring external best practices in-house
Qualifications:
This is an exciting opportunity for a practically minded professional with excellent knowledge of Product Development, Risk Data Management, and strong business acumen around Risk Management
Graduate or Postgraduate in Computer Science, Engineering, Management, or related field
1 2 years of relevant experience in performing Product Development, Risk Data Management, Risk Management, or similar roles
Outstanding professional communication skills clear, logical, and structured and able to demonstrate ability to influence at all levels
Deep and broad expertise in Business Insights and Analytics OR Credit Fraud Risk Strategy OR Product
