Sr Manager/ AGM- Manufacturing (Injection Molding)

Role & responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure efficient and cost-effective production of injection moulded products.
• Plan, organize, and manage the production schedule to meet customer demands and delivery deadlines.
• Monitor production targets, yield rates, and cycle times to ensure high efficiency.
• Manage the set-up, maintenance, and troubleshooting of moulding machines.
• Ensure that all products meet company and customer quality standards.
• Monitor and control production processes to maintain consistent product quality.
• Lead and supervise a team of engineers, technicians, operators, and other plant staff.
• Provide training and development opportunities for plant personnel.
• Establish and monitor performance metrics to ensure team members meet production and safety goals.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and productive work environment.
• Monitor and control plant costs, including materials, labor, and overheads.
• Work with the finance team to prepare and manage the plants budget.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Continuously assess and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce scrap, and improve product quality.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and innovations in injection moulding.
• Implement automation and technological advancements to enhance production capabilities.
• Prepare regular reports on production performance, quality, safety, and plant status for upper management.
• Maintain accurate records of production, maintenance, and employee performance.
• Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) team to conduct inspections and audits.
• Implement corrective actions in case of non-conformities and improve processes.
