Job Description
- Team Lead for New Technology Motors.
- Responsible for PMSM/BLDC/SRM/SynRM/Axial/New Technology Motors for HVAC/Home Appliances/Automotive Applications.
- Responsible for NPD Cycle till project execution, leading/involving CFT members. Electromagnetic design & Analysis of motor using Softwares JMAG/SPEED/MotorSolve. Responsible for electrical motor mechanical design and Validation.
- Comparing different types motors (SPM/IPM/SRM/AXIAL/SynRM) for different applications. Develops methods to improve electric machine performance through improved materials, modelling methods, and design algorithms.
- Testing & validation of electric machines as per relevant standards.
- Proto type building & proving concept design with tight timing constraints.
- Lead APQP and relevant Product development cycle for the Projects.
- Costing of motor & generating VAVE ideas.
- Keep track of global trends in relevant technology, regulations and develop long term road maps and appropriate work plan.
- Benchmarking and generation of ideas for better performance, quality, cost, weight.
- Ability to solve novel, difficult design problems.
- Excellent communication skills, Profound Leadership and Initiative skills
