GPO- India is seeking a skilled and experienced Cost Optimal Country Sourcing Specialist to join our procurement team. The candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing supplier relationships in low-cost countries to optimize our companys sourcing strategy and reduce overall costs while maintaining quality standards.

Key job responsibilities
1. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers in low-cost countries, primarily in India, China & South east Asia and Latin America.
2. Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about emerging sourcing opportunities and trends in low-cost regions.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing activities with overall business objectives.
4. Develop and implement sourcing strategies to leverage cost advantages in target countries.
5. Manage supplier Assessment, relationships, including performance monitoring, quality control, and continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Conduct regular cost analysis and benchmarking to identify savings opportunities.
7. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, ethical sourcing practices, and company policies.
8. Coordinate with logistics teams to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce lead times.
9. Develop and maintain a comprehensive supplier database and performance metrics.
10. Assist in risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to global sourcing.
11. Travel to supplier locations as needed for audits, negotiations, and relationship management.
12. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers to ensure optimal terms and conditions in partnership with respective category manager.
