Asst. Manager - Quality - Civil

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), Inspection Test Plans (ITP), and checklists as per technical specifications.
• Set up and manage the Quality Control (QC) lab at project sites.
• Conduct sampling, lab tests, field inspections, and material approvals to ensure compliance with project standards.
• Supervise and approve execution of works by verifying checklists and drawings.
• Prepare and maintain test reports, QC registers, and construction protocols as per quality standards.
• Monitor and audit construction processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Train site engineers, supervisors, and workers on quality control methodologies and material handling.
• Perform inward material inspections and prepare Inward Raw Material Reports (IRMR).
• Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Ensure documentation and coordination with internal teams, project consultants, and client representatives.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Experience: 8+ years in quality assurance and control for Industrial, Residential building construction projects

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of IS, BS, IRC, and SP codes
• Expertise in concrete mix design, QAP preparation, auditing, and material testing
• Familiarity with modern construction methodologies, NDT (Non-Destructive Testing), and geotechnical investigations
• Proficiency in documentation and regulatory compliance reporting
