AUW offers AmarUjala mobile app in the Hindi language for both Android and Apple users to make it easier for the audience to consume the content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the North Sales team to achieve set sales targets and revenue goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region, with a focus on digital advertising products like Intellectual Properties, Branded Content, Podcasts, Integrated Solutions, and Display Ads (Banners, etc).
- Oversee the development and execution of tailored sales strategies to maximize revenue and business growth.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring the delivery of superior service and consistent client satisfaction.
- Work closely with new and existing clients to understand their needs and provide customized solutions.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with advertising agencies for long-term business collaboration.
- Manage and mentor the sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team targets.
- Monitor team performance and revenue contributions, helping members meet sales goals and providing ongoing training and motivation.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and high performance within the sales team.
- Develop and execute effective strategies to increase market penetration and grow the company's digital advertising business in the region.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, content) to design and implement integrated advertising solutions for clients.
- Continuously evaluate and refine sales tactics based on market trends and business needs.
- Drive business growth by consistently delivering revenue and achieving KPIs.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to achieving measurable results while upholding company values.
Who Are We Looking For?
- 12-14 years of experience in leading media and digital advertising sales teams within leading media companies.
- In-depth understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including Intellectual Properties, Branded Content, Podcasts, and Display Ads.
- Excellent relationships with key clients and leading ad agencies, with a proven track record of success in building long-term partnerships.
- Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to craft innovative and customized proposals.
- Results-driven approach with a proven ability to meet and exceed targets.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to address client challenges and market dynamics.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
