Microsoft Support Specialist - Access Control and Permissions

Job Summary:

We are seeking a customer-oriented Microsoft Support Specialist with expertise in managing access control and permissions in Microsoft 365. You will provide technical support, troubleshoot and resolve access issues, and ensure the security of sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support: Assist users with Microsoft 365 access control and permissions issues, troubleshooting and resolving technical problems efficiently.

User Management: Manage user accounts and permissions in Azure Active Directory.

Access Control Policies: Develop and maintain policies to protect sensitive information.

Auditing: Conduct audits of user permissions and monitor access logs for unauthorized attempts.

User Training: Educate users on secure sharing practices and Microsoft 365 security features.

Collaboration: Work with the IT security team to enhance security measures.

Documentation: Maintain records of support interactions, troubleshooting steps, and access control changes.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

Experience: 2+ years in IT support with Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory.

Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, RBAC, and PowerShell (preferred).

Preferred Certifications:

Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals or relevant role-based certifications
