Job Description: Solution Architect Role Expectations:

• Defines the architecture of a solution within a project, leveraging existing patterns to address business/technical problems.
• Develops, communicates, maintains, and enforces the overall architecture of the information system within the project.
• Takes key technology/architectural decisions for the project.
• Leverages architecture standards, patterns, reference architectures, and other referential means to create the most suitable solution architecture.
• Ensures the integrity of design, communication, and interfaces between application subsystems and supporting databases according to Novartis IT standards.
• Communicates and explains selected aspects of the solution architecture to relevant stakeholders.
• Ensures compliance with security and compliance policies within the solution architecture domain.
