Solution Architect - Snowflake DB (7-10 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement efficient data models, including star schema and snowflake schema.

- Define data quality rules and standards to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

- Create and manage data pipelines using Snowpipe and other ETL tools.

- Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures to extract, transform, and load data.

- Utilize Snowflake's advanced features, such as micro-partitions, time travel, and zero-copy clones.

- Optimize query performance and troubleshoot performance issues.

- Implement data security and access controls to protect sensitive data.

- Integrate Snowflake with other cloud services, such as AWS S3 or Azure Blob Storage.

- Leverage cloud-native technologies to build scalable and cost-effective data solutions.

- Establish data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and compliance.

- Collaborate with data stewards and business analysts to understand data requirements.

- Diagnose and resolve complex data issues and performance bottlenecks.

- Proactively identify and address potential problems.

Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in data warehousing and ETL processes.

- Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.

- In-depth knowledge of Snowflake, including Snow SQL, Snowpipe, and data modeling techniques.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and data storage solutions (S3, ADLS).

- Experience with data security and access controls.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
