As we expand our footprint in the Middle East, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Team Lead - Sales Development to manage our Sales Development Representative (SDR) team.
This role focuses on driving growth in the Middle East market, especially in KSA and UAE, by building and managing a high-performing team responsible for both inbound lead qualification and outbound outreach.
We are specifically looking for candidates with international sales development experience and a proven track record of executing and managing outbound lead generation efforts targeting large enterprises.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Coaching:
- Lead and mentor a team of 5+ SDRs focused on inbound lead qualification and outbound lead generation efforts.
- Train and coach the team to develop effective outreach strategies targeting CXOs, Tax Heads, and Finance Heads in large enterprises.
- Foster a high-performance team culture by setting clear goals, providing actionable feedback, and encouraging continuous skill development.
Sales Development Processes and CRM Management
- Establish and optimize sales development processes using CRMs like Salesforce to ensure streamlined lead management, tracking, and reporting.
- Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of the sales development pipeline for seamless collaboration with sales teams.
Middle East Market Execution
- Implement outbound lead generation strategies specifically tailored to the unique business environment of the Middle East, with a focus on KSA and UAE.
- Leverage prior experience in executing and scaling sales development functions to drive success in the region.
- Guide the team in crafting personalized outreach to engage senior decision-makers (CXOs, Tax Heads, Finance Heads) effectively.
- Ensure company is positioned as a leader in SaaS solutions through consistent, high-quality engagement efforts.
Inbound Lead Qualification:
- Oversee the qualification of inbound leads generated from marketing and other channels, ensuring a strong pipeline of high-potential opportunities.
Performance Tracking and Reporting
- Track team performance against KPIs, including pipeline growth, lead quality, and conversion rates.
- Prepare detailed performance reports for senior leadership, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in sales development or business development, with at least 2+ years managing teams of 3 or more SDRs.
- Proven success in international sales development roles, particularly in enterprise SaaS or similar solutions.
- Experience with outbound lead generation targeting large enterprises, preferably in the Middle East market (KSA and UAE).
- CRM Expertise: Strong proficiency in setting up and managing sales development workflows using CRMs like Salesforce.
- Outbound Sales Development Skills: Demonstrated ability to train and coach SDR teams for outbound outreach to senior decision-makers.
- Regional Knowledge: Familiarity with the Middle East business environment, including cultural nuances and business practices, is highly desirable.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in Arabic is a bonus but not mandatory
